Connecting Submersible Pumps: Easy Installation
Connecting a submersible pump for a basic water system is a simple process. The submersible pump has an opening at the bottom for water suction and a hose connection at the top (usually suitable for a hose with a diameter of 10 mm or 12 mm). Place the hose over the hose connection and secure it tightly with a hose clamp. The top also features the electrical connection of the pump, consisting of two wires (often blue and brown, but the colors may vary per submersible pump). Connect the blue wire to the negative pole or ground of the battery and the brown wire to the switch or faucet with a microswitch. Ensure that this switch or faucet is connected to the positive pole of the battery via a fuse.
